12:00 to 1:15 Advanced Attention and Distraction class
(Taken after the beginning attention class)

The class begins with group heelwork doing various patterns, incorporates obedience exercises, figure 8's, stands for examination, recalls through a crowd of dogs and people etc. plus other various tricks of the trade. A ring is set up for the novice, open and utility obedience exercises and we start to proof the dog with major distractions, umbrellas, raincoat, talking to dog, toys, treats on the ground etc. Really fine-tune the exercises for all levels to achieve a better performance in the trial setting.

2:00 to 3:00 Intermediate Attention Class and
Novice/Advanced/Excellent Rally Class

(Taken after the beginning manners class)

The first 1/2 hour teaches you how to get your dog to watch you while heeling and the proper footwork for turns, halts, fast & slow pace. I cover all the novice obedience exercises, teach hand signals for stand, down, sit and start to add distractions to your dog while maintaining attention. The second 1/2 hour you learn the 31 novice rally signs, a few each week and have a course set up with those signs learned. At the end of the 6 weeks all signs are taught and many courses are run. Tips are given on how to get a better performance from you and your dog. A second 6-week series of this class teaches you the 14 advanced and 6 excellent rally signs, the regulations and point deductions are reviewed for optimum performance.

3:00 to 4:00 Beginning Attention Class

For those who just want a well-behaved dog and don't want to compete or have a new puppy/dog I will show you how to get them to walk nicely on a leash, meet people and other dogs in a mannerly fashion, sits, downs, stand, stay and incorporate various exercises to have fun with your dog like an agility tunnel, weave poles, jumps and tricks.

Each class is $85.00 for 6-weeks, 1 hour or if you enter two classes or have two dogs the price is reduced to $150.00. There is a $15.00 drop in rate for any of the classes.
